Privacy Policy
Effective date: 19 October 2026
Axiomers is a product of Daniverse Technologies, based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Axiomers, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. We have tried to write it in plain language.
In short: we collect only what we need to run Axiomers. We do not sell personal data. We do not use the data in your apps for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to host and run the product, and they are listed below.
1. Who is responsible for your data
There are two kinds of people who use Axiomers, and the answer is different for each.
- Builders are people who create apps in the Axiomers builder. For your builder account, Daniverse Technologies is the data controller: we decide why and how your account data is used.
- App users are people who sign in to an app that a builder made with Axiomers (for example, a shop's staff app). The builder who owns that app decides what data the app collects and why, so the app owner is the controller of that data. Daniverse Technologies provides the platform and handles that data on the owner's behalf, as a data processor. If you use someone else's app, please read that owner's privacy information too, and contact them first about your data in their app.
Builders are responsible for telling their own app users what their app collects and for having a lawful reason to collect it.

3. What we collect
Builder account and apps
- Your email address, name and password. Passwords are stored in a securely hashed form, not as plain text.
- The apps you build: their names, descriptions, collections, fields, views, actions, roles and settings.
- Records about your use of the builder that we need for the service, such as which apps you own.
App users and app data
- The email address, name, role and any profile fields the app owner chose to ask for.
- The records people create in the app, including text, numbers, dates, files, images, drawings, barcodes and locations, depending on what the app owner built.
- Each app has its own separate database. Data in one app is not visible to another app.
Offline copies on your device
Axiomers works offline. To do that, the app keeps a copy of the data you are allowed to see in your device's own storage (browser storage on the web, app storage on a phone) and sends your changes to our servers when you are back online. Anyone who can unlock your device could see that copy, so please protect your device with a lock screen. We also store a short list of recently opened apps on your device for convenience.
Phone permissions (Android app)
The Android app is for opening and using apps that were built with Axiomers. Building apps and the optional AI features are done on our website, not in the Android app. The Android app can ask for these permissions. It only uses them when a form or feature you open needs them, and you can refuse or turn them off in your phone's settings.
- Camera: to take photos for image fields and to scan barcodes and QR codes. Barcode scanning is done on your device.
- Location (precise and approximate): to fill in a location field when you ask it to. We do not track your location in the background.
- Files and storage: to attach files and to save or open files such as exported documents.
- Internet: to sync your data with the server.
Payments
Where an app or a paid feature takes a payment, the payment is handled by our payment provider, Paystack. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep the payment reference, the amount and its status so we can confirm the payment and keep records.
Website and technical data
- Website analytics: our marketing website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which buttons are clicked. This uses cookies and similar technology and records things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. See section 9.
- Server logs: our servers and hosting providers may record technical information such as IP address, time of request and the page or service requested. We use this to keep the service secure and to fix problems.
- Emails we send: to send messages such as email verification and password reset, we use your email address and the content of that message.
4. How we use it, and our lawful basis
| Why we use your data | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| To create and run your account and apps, sync your data and provide the service | Performing our contract with you |
| To send verification, password reset and other service emails | Performing our contract with you |
| To take and confirm payments and keep financial records | Contract, and legal obligations |
| To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix faults | Our legitimate interests |
| To understand how the website is used and improve it | Consent (where required), or our legitimate interests |
| To use your camera, location or files on your phone | Your consent, given through your phone's permission prompt |
| To respond to your questions and requests | Our legitimate interests, and legal obligations |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the data inside your apps to show you advertising or to build advertising profiles. We do not make decisions about you that have legal effects through fully automated means.
5. AI features (optional)
The builder has optional AI features that can draft or refine an app from a description. If you use them, we send the following to our AI provider, DeepSeek, so that it can write a response:
- the messages and instructions you type into the AI feature,
- the app name and description you provide,
- the app's structure (its collections, fields, views, actions and roles) when you ask the AI to improve or import an existing app.
We do not send the records stored inside your apps (the actual customers, orders and so on) to the AI provider. Please do not type personal data, passwords or confidential information into the AI feature.
Important: DeepSeek's own privacy policy states that it stores information on servers located in the People's Republic of China, so anything sent to the AI feature is processed there. DeepSeek's retention terms are set by DeepSeek. Their policy is available at chat.deepseek.com. If you are not comfortable with this, simply do not use the AI features. Everything else in Axiomers works without them.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run Axiomers, and only as much as they need to do their job.
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Fly.io | Hosts our servers and the databases for the builder and for each app | Our servers are currently in London, United Kingdom |
| Vercel | Hosts our marketing website, documentation and blog | Global network |
| Resend | Sends service emails such as verification and password reset | United States |
| Paystack | Processes payments, when payments are in use | Nigeria and other regions |
| DeepSeek | Powers the optional AI features (see section 5) | People's Republic of China |
| Google Analytics | Website analytics (see section 9) | United States and other regions |
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to respond to valid requests from public authorities, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business (in which case we will tell you and the same protections will continue to apply).
Within an app, data is shared with the other people the app owner has given access to, according to the roles and permissions the owner set.
7. Transfers outside your country
Daniverse Technologies is in Nigeria, our servers are in the United Kingdom, and some of our providers are in the United States and China. This means your data can be transferred across borders. Where the law requires it (for example under the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the EU and UK GDPR), we make these transfers only with appropriate protections in place, such as contractual terms with the provider, or on the basis of your consent, or where the transfer is needed to provide the service you asked for. Transfers to China happen only if you use the optional AI features described in section 5.
8. How long we keep data and how we protect it
- Builder accounts and apps: kept while your account is open. If you delete an app, its database and files are deleted from our live systems. If you ask us to close your account, we delete it as described in section 11.
- App data: kept for as long as the app owner keeps the app. Owners decide how long their own records are kept.
- Payment records: kept for as long as the law requires for financial and tax records.
- Server logs and backups: kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or overwritten.
We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, a separate database for every app, and role-based access rules that the server itself enforces, so a person only receives the data their role allows. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that is likely to put people's rights at risk, we will notify the people and the authorities affected, as the law requires.
9. Cookies and website analytics
Our marketing website uses Google Analytics (Google tag) to measure visits and clicks. It sets cookies and may collect information such as your IP address (shortened or anonymised by Google where applicable), pages viewed, device and browser, and approximate location. The Axiomers apps themselves use your browser's local storage to work offline and to keep you signed in, which is needed for the service to work.
You can control analytics in these ways:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Use Google's opt-out browser add-on for Analytics.
- Use your browser's "Do Not Track" or tracking protection features.
If you are in the EU or UK, please contact us if you would like us to remove your analytics data or if you have a concern about it.
10. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), and, for people in the EU and UK, under the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- know whether we hold your data and get a copy of it,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data deleted, in the cases the law allows,
- restrict or object to our use of your data, including for direct marketing,
- receive your data in a common, machine-readable format and have it passed to another service where possible (data portability),
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it,
- not be subject to a decision based only on automated processing that significantly affects you,
- complain to a data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email daniverse-tech@outlook.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We will reply within one month, and we will tell you if we need more time or cannot do what you ask and why. There is normally no charge.
If you use another person's app, the owner of that app controls your data in it. You can ask us, and we will pass your request to the owner or help the owner to deal with it.
Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom
If you are in the EU or UK, the lawful bases in section 4 apply, and the rights above are your rights under the GDPR. Where we transfer your data outside your region, we rely on the protections described in section 7. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or, in the EU, the data protection authority in your country.
Complaints in Nigeria
You can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you think we have mishandled your data. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first, so please contact us.
11. Deleting your account or data
- Builders: you can delete an app yourself from the builder. To close your whole account and delete its data, email us from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account".
- App users: ask the owner of the app, or email us and we will pass your request to the owner or carry it out for them.
- We will act on a deletion request within one month. Some limited data may remain in backups for a short time before it is overwritten, and we may keep what the law requires us to keep (for example payment records).
12. Children
Axiomers is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you are under 13, please do not create an account. If we learn that a child under 13 has given us personal data, we will delete it. If a builder creates an app for people under 18, the builder is responsible for meeting the legal requirements for that, including any parent or guardian consent. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links and services
Our website, apps and emails may link to other sites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add a feature or change a provider. We will change the effective date at the top, and if the change is significant we will tell builders by email or in the product.
